Authentic, genuine, sincere, and of a kind I do not like to use the word "I" too much when I write, and "I" do not really like talking about myself, but I guess its unavoidable here. I believfe confidence and humility is essential to living, learning, experiencing the best of what you as well as the world has to offer. I am originally from San Francisco, California and I came to New York City to get a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. I was born and raised in the inner-city and went to public schools throughout my whole life (although UC San Diego was run like a private school) and always wanted to attend Columbia University, and now I am living the dream and piling up that Ivy League DEBT! I believe in authenticity and "keeping it REAL" while avoiding unnecessary games, BS, and trivial nonsense. I know how to strike a balance between playfulness and seriousness. I am a combination of academic book smarts along with a little urban swagger and street smarts as well. Intelligence, emotional maturity, authenticity, wit, a sense of humor, and of course a nice, genuine smile and --- are all huge turns-on for me LOL. I do not pretend to be something I am not, and firmly believe in evolving, growing, and developing as an individual with each passing day. I was raised by a single mother who considers herself to be a "radical progressive feminist." Hence, I was raised in a politically and socially liberal/progressive household and I consider myself to be a Progressive activist in some ways even though I have some major points of disagreement with my Mother (she encouraged me to think critically and challenge her; hence why she is the greatest mother in the world!). I am 6'4 tall, Italian, and I am obsessed with smelling pleasant (love to wear Acqua Di Gio cologne amongst many other fragrances).
