Looking for someone to look up to I've never married (though I have dodged a couple of bullets), but am now at the age where I would like a partnership and committed relationship. I'd love to meet a man I can look up to both literally and figuratively - someone who has a real sense of honor, community involvement, and who keeps the promises he makes.
I love living in the country and have too many cats. I love the outdoors in good weather and staying in to read, watch movies, and cook in bad weather. I have a wry sense of humor and enjoy laughing at myself. I love to dance, play cards, and go on adventures.
My politics are independent leaning to the left and I am spiritual but not at all religious. I don't like Nascar or watching sports on tv, but don't mind a man who does, and wants to spend time with his buddies in those pursuits. Although I enjoy my alone time, I have many friends and family. I'm involved in my community and my job. But, I would also like the closeness and intimacy (physical, emotional and intellectual) of a relationship. Am I too old for that, has my time passed? I don't think so, do you?
