Living in NYC Having moved from Connecticut to New York City about 3 years ago, I currently live in a fantastic apartment-- found after a 5 month search. What a difference this is from Fairfield suburbia: I’m now living on the 35th floor of a high-rise and have a balcony facing west; one of my favorite things to do at the end of a day is to stand outside and look out over the City. I’m in my 5th year of working downtown at one of the country’s largest banks, where I'm a technology lawyer negotiating many different types of contracts. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the various NYC neighborhoods, attending wine tastings, social functions at professional organizations, and going to the gym. Working out feels great, and it’s a very centering experience. I also enjoy visiting the City’s many museums, live music (play piano and violin as a hobby), and being outdoors. When choosing to get outside of the City on the occasional weekend, I spend time by the Connecticut shoreline near New London and Mystic. Also, I'm a member of the Masonic Order-- a Master Mason-- yes, just like in the "National Treasure" movies with Nicholas Cage, the DaVinci Code, and the Angels & Demons movies.
