'm a tall, fairly attractive man who's never found the right woman (who though i was the right man) and am currently semi-retired (i have a pension, but work out of my home as a translator of historical documents). i enjoy making people laugh and hearing good humor. i'm skeptical of ideologues, people who prejudge things from an ideological point of view. that's why i have not registered as either a republican or a democrat and view religious belief as a matter of opinion (faith), not fact.
i do have a great sense of humor, despite what the above may suggest. i just don't want to repeat past mistakes (getting emotionally involved with women who consult "psychics", spending too much time on women who are depressed and into long-term psychotherapy), etc.
