First of all, I'm interested in finding someone who reads entire profiles, and doesn't stop at the pictures!
I am here to find a self-assured, affectionate, and genuine person with which to spend some some wonderful hours or years. I'm not in to playing games or the field, and want someone who takes relationships seriously. Friends tell me that I'm open-minded, gentle, creative/artistic, a hard worker, genuine, honest, non-pretentious, appreciative, health-conscious, socially and environmentally aware, fun loving, -------, and make them feel comfortable and relaxed. I also look and act much younger than my years. My BEST friends tell me that I could easily pass for 40...
Generally speaking, I love most all music (from classical to rock to world--the exceptions being possibly rap and punk) and theater, the arts, museums, boating, biking, hiking, spontaneity and careful plans, cooking for each other at home or visiting unique restaurants; and I WELCOME experiencing new foods, entertainment, and cultures. I'm not impressed with materialism and most popular American culture (or guys that feel the need to show off their cars, motorcycles, muscles, former girlfriends, or team jersey on their profiles); and I prefer to keep life materially simple yet rich in intangibles. Stimulating conversations about good books, social issues, personal plans, or mutual interests; plus physical, intellectual, and psychological compatibility and lots of hearty laughs will make our relationship super-special. As for my "perfect" mate: I prefer intelligent, stable, fit, ------- yet calm gentlemen with a flair for creative thought, and there must be the physical fireworks between us!
