`For a woman.. tall is 5'8 or above by most standards.
I'm 5'9, and while there are lots of women WAY taller than me, I'm still very tall compared to most (average) people. And when I wear my heels -- which I absolutely LOVE wearing -- I easily stand 6' tall.
Most men go for women shorter than them.. so my heels seem to pose a problem the majority of the time.. *sniff sniff* =(

I agree with ashleyanne, you just get the feeling Most people out in public (male and female) are shorter than you are.
And they are not looking you at eye level because they are shorter.
That is how you truly know you are Tall for a woman.

`I'm 5'10" and I have no problem dating a woman who is taller. I know society from some stupid reason treats tall women as an oddity. For a guy who is shorter than a woman, you have to choices either make her feel special, or don't date a tall woman. BTW, my ex was 6'.

I adore very tall women and have never had a problem dating taller women (who wear heels or not). I am not bothered by what others may think - what's important is that my date is happy baecause then so am I.

`For me, I'm five foot ten and a half (give or take an inch depending on my stretching). I find a lady who's around my height fairly tall - and fairly attractive.

`I often feel out of place because of my height I'm 6'1'' and that makes me taler than most all of my peers including te boys. but at home I'm the short one since my dad is 6'10'' and my little brother is 6' 9''.
Forget about worring about heels because I get random older ladies that tell me off about it for some reason
